Our speakers and facilitators at our briefing events are good at explaining the changing world of safeguarding  as they are tracking the complex changes that are occurring on a daily basis.  Members of the team worked within the Home Office to deliver the VBS roadshows and guidance and now work with other safeguarding specialists and those involved with delivering the new Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

Those of you who attended a Vetting & Barring Scheme Roadshow event  in 2009 and 2010 will know the standard of speaker and professionalism that we offer, and we have received many positive testimonials for our current series of Executive Briefings.

These have been developed to provide deeper insights by tracking wider topics which will have an impact on the  revised scheme and the new world of safeguarding.  These include criminal record disclosure changes,  police database development, changes to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act, the Education Bill,  The Health and Social Care Bill, the Freedom Bill,  as well as measures to reallocate the roles of quangos as they are disbanded.

We will shortly  be launching open briefing events around the UK in Autumn 2011 to consider the implications of the Protection of Freedoms Act and the numerous parallel changes.
