Following a number of enquiries, we are organising a briefing event in London on Thursday, 14th April with Simon Morrison, previously Head of Communications for the VBS , Mark Williams-Thomas,  a criminologist who is frequently interviewed in the media about child protection issues and Liz Morrison who led the VBS roadshow programme.  The half day session will provide an opportunity to understand the detail behind the Protection of Freedoms Bill and other proposed legislation and the practical impact on safeguarding. 

The CRB are already tightening up  their procedures and an understanding of regulated activity and the impact of recent cases means that action needs to be taken now to review safeguarding policies and best practice – and understand the costs and impact for your business.
